How sharp are the knives?


Our knives are sharpened to an extremely fine grinding angle of up to 12 degrees – significantly sharper than conventional kitchen knives. This allows you to glide effortlessly through meat, vegetables, or herbs. Almost like cutting through butter.

Do I need to resharpen the knife?

Yes, like any high-quality kitchen knife, a Damascus knife will lose its sharpness over time, depending on use. We recommend regular sharpening with a whetstone or occasional sharpening with a suitable water stone.

Are the knives dishwasher safe?

No, not really. We recommend cleaning exclusively by hand. The aggressive environment of a dishwasher can permanently damage Damascus steel and the handle material.
