Questions and answers
Still have questions?
What are the blades made of?
67 layers of Damascus steel with around 60 HRC. This makes the blade resilient and gives it its characteristic grain.
Do I need to sharpen the knives?
Yes, like any high-quality kitchen knife, a Damascus knife loses its sharpness over time. We recommend regular honing with a honing steel or occasional sharpening on a suitable whetstone.
Can the knives go in the dishwasher?
Please don't. Wash them by hand and dry them straight away; in the long run, the dishwasher can damage the Damascus steel and the handle.
What's the best way to store the knives?
In a knife block, on a magnetic strip or in a knife sheath. Loose in a drawer, the blades rub against each other and go blunt faster. Our magnetic knife block is a perfect fit for this.
How does the 30-day money-back guarantee work?
You can take 30 days to test everything at your leisure. If you are not satisfied, send the product back and you will get a full refund of the purchase price. More about returns

How we check reviews
We publish positive and negative reviews alike and do not edit their text. Some of the reviews were imported from another source. On the English site you see translations of the original German reviews. The highest rated reviews are shown first; use the star bars to see every review of a given rating, including the critical ones.
